To ensure an effective market launch, product renderings can be used to provide a uniform, realistic and detailed representation. In this way, a professional appearance can be achieved with 3D modeling, which appeals to buyers and leaves a lasting impression.
ANiFiT AG approached us with the request to present their products for the upcoming market launch in Italy. The deadline was approaching and there was not enough time to photograph the products. They therefore opted for 3D renderings.
The various types of packaging for their pet food products include sausages, cans, bags, paper bags, plastic bags, tubes and small glass bottles. Some packages have a transparent window, for which we also had to photograph and model the contents. They provided us with the graphic design files and sent us sample products as a reference.
As not all products were available at the time the order was placed, the decision to use product renderings was clear. Having products as 3D models has even more advantages.
If you want to change the look of the design in the future, for example, we can create renderings with a new design very quickly. The step of sending new product samples to a photographer can therefore be avoided. You can also test the appearance of different designs before deciding on the final look of the product line. It’s like changing a model’s clothes.
Another advantage for ANiFiT is that renderings can be created in any desired resolution, from a small website image to a large-format poster. There are also numerous customization options, such as removing the background or changing the background color, lighting, scene layout and more. Above all, they are not just limited to static images, as interesting and captivating animations of products can also be created.
There are so many more possibilities than just a static image taken once with a normal camera.
We provided a rendering of each product on a transparent background with a shadow on a separate layer.

The project was divided into five phases:
- Modeling of all packaging shapes
- Photographing the contents visible through the packaging window
- Modeling the content visible through the packaging window
- Creating the correct textures for each packaging
- Rendering of the final image based on the specification
